Chapter 805 - 804: Felicity Sterling Posted on Her Moments

Ethan Grant returned home and felt that something was amiss the moment he opened the door.

Sitting on the couch were Simon Sterling and Claire Sullivan, who looked over, while Wyatt Sterling shot him a glare and said to Serena Sullivan, "Serena, he’s back."

The atmosphere was somewhat tense and cold, Ethan Grant smiled as he walked over to greet them, "Dad, Mom, Brother."

He walked up to Serena, his smile deepened as he bent down to kiss her cheek, and he asked softly, "What’s wrong?"

"See for yourself."

Without waiting for Serena to answer, Wyatt handed Ethan his phone.

Ethan looked puzzled and opened the phone to see a photo in Wyatt’s social media feed. The photo was of some dishes; although his face wasn’t captured, the watch he wore was distinctly featured.

"It was posted by Felicity Sterling."

Looking at the accompanying text in the photo, it simply said, "Dining."

Such brief content, and a partially captured photo posted on social media, Wyatt recognized Ethan at a glance.

They came over for dinner today, Ethan had said he had a business engagement, but who would have thought he went to dine with Felicity.

When Ethan returned, how could their expressions be pleasant!

"Ethan!"

Claire was not as composed as Simon; when she saw the photo, a lot of questions and concerns flashed through her mind.

"You must be thinking less of Serena!"

The surgery ended, Serena regained feeling in her legs, but having been in a wheelchair for many years, her condition wasn’t as good as imagined.

"Mom."

Ethan called out and earnestly said, "I love Serena!"

He didn’t explain much more, using a single word "love" to express his sentiment, as for the photo posted by Felicity, it didn’t indicate anything significant; his heart remained clear.

"Mom!"

Serena smiled and chimed in, "If anyone is thinking less, it’s me thinking less of him!"

Ethan had been pursuing her all along, she wasn’t worried he would ever leave her!

If he truly would, it wouldn’t be after four years, nor after her surgery.

Claire did not continue; she was worried, but she had also been watching Ethan and Serena’s journey together.

A photo with nothing, nothing can be gleaned from it, it was merely her excessive worry.

"He wouldn’t dare!" Simon chimed in, glaring at Ethan.

He and Wyatt were waiting here for Ethan, not angry about the photo, but about their daughter marrying early, leaving him here to endure Ethan.

The anger wasn’t fully vented, and Serena was already defending him, as her father-in-law, Simon could only relent!

"Serena."

Simon softened his tone, looking at Serena and said, "We’ll head back now, see you tomorrow."

Saying that, Simon stood up, Wyatt turned to Claire and said, "Mom, you escort us."

After talking things out with Simon, Claire didn’t deliberately avoid him; when Wyatt wanted her to escort them, she openly followed them out.

The living room was left with just Serena and Ethan. He crouched down in front of her, his warm hands clasping hers, "I met Felicity to confirm something?"

"I told you before, don’t hide anything from me."

Seeing the photo Felicity posted, Serena believed with not a hint of doubt that Ethan would have any feelings towards Felicity.

She was slightly upset because Ethan went to meet Felicity without telling her.

"She’s marrying Elliot Walsh, you went to see her not because you don’t want her to marry." Serena joked slightly, Ethan tightened his grip on her hand, gazing at her without answering.
