Chapter 697: Only Four.

The living things in the world could be used to grow spirit creatures, and the symbol of authority could be used to create a Divine Metac.

So the value of the small world was greater than the amount of world essence that could be excavated from the heart of the world. The seer then charged for all of these benefits and still made a lot of profit.

All of that profit was why the seer would auction worlds. It was also why Loki was sure that the seer would definitely be angry when he discovers that the small worlds are gone.

Loki chuckled evilly to himself as he thought of what the seer would feel when he learned the news of the disappearing act of the two small worlds.

Then he said to himself, ’So much to do, so little time to do them."

As he said this, he flew back to the Blessed Heaven World. He was going there to kill and replace the Monarch Gold Body.

There was no problem with replacing the Monarch Gold Body. As usual, the cultivators of the Thorn House of Commerce were willing to let him take the Divine Position because they didn’t know how the old Gold Body was killed. They wanted to know the identity of the divine being that helped him replace the old Gold Body before they made a move on him.

So they used the divine constellation to try to see what happened. But Loki blocked their investigations with a lifespan that a new divine being like him shouldn’t have.

His ability to block their inquiries proved that he wasn’t alone and that he had substantial support. This made the Thorn House of Commerce further unwilling to escalate the matter.

At the end of the day, Money Body didn’t want them to fight, so the Thorn House of Commerce didn’t take any action. Instead, Money Body wanted Forced Exchange to convince the new Gold Body to join the Thorn House of Commerce and make the alliance stronger.

That would have been what would have happened if the new Gold Body had stood his ground with confidence. But the new Gold Body became scared and chose to run away. This spurred Forced Exchange and some other divine beings to treat him like prey.

All of this was according to Loki’s plan. The only problem that he encountered was the slight problem of four divine beings chasing him, not six like the past two timelines.

Only four divine beings pursued him after he ran away because Forced Exchange was among them. The other three were weaker than Life’s Worth, Money Construct, and Wealth Status, so they were not confident about their chances of getting him once Forced Exchange joined the chase.

The other three that could have joined the pursuit were content with using the divine constellation to check his information to see if he was weak enough for them to take advantage of.

Of these four, he could only kill three. Forced Exchange couldn’t be killed because there was no benefit in doing so. This meant he was losing out on three potential prey because of Forced Exchange.

When he made this calculation, he tsked in annoyance and said to himself, ’So the trade off isn’t just that 15 million square kilometers small world. Now I’m tempted to ask for more in our deal.’

He was only tempted to fleece the Thorn House of Commerce more, though. He didn’t think it was a good idea to push the Thorn House of Commerce too far. Especially since he would be going with Money Body on a mission later on.

There was also the fact that if push came to shove, Money Body could come after him right now to beat some sense into him. So he didn’t let his temptation cloud his judgment and went ahead with the deal he was used to.

As usual, Life’s Worth, Money Construct, and Wealth Status didn’t survive the pursuit. Only Forced Exchange survived the pursuit, but he was so bitter about the entire experience that he didn’t want to talk about it ever again.

Only Loki was in a good mood after the pursuit. He returned to the Blessed Heaven World whistling as if he hadn’t just been running for his dear life.

The first thing he did was to go to the second heaven to loot the Cave Heaven of the three cultivators. He released the manifestation of Fenrir while he was at it to eat spirit creatures for him.

After he plundered the three Cave Heaven, he returned to the Blessed Heaven World to use their Divine Metacs to call down and take their Divine Positions.

While he was doing this, the remaining money cultivators were itching to descend to attack him and take the Divine Metacs from him. But just like Loki was earlier, they were only tempted to do so.

They didn’t know how strong the new Gold Body was, but they knew for a fact that three strong money cultivators who chased him earlier were all dead. So they only let the temptation wash through them and then ignored the temptation.

So no one disturbed Loki during the process. He got his four Divine Positions without a hassle from the Thorn House of Commerce and the other money cultivators.

When the four Divine Positions have finally settled into his Life Fire, he took one last look at the sky before looking away and saying to himself, ’Now I have to raise my strength as much as possible. Then I will go to Oceania in three years’ time.’

The short-term goal was to gain more Divine Metacs and increase the size of his Cave Heaven, while the long-term goal was to go to Oceania. But at the end of the day, the two goals were about growing stronger.

In order to achieve these goals, he began to think about the methods and the steps he should take to go about it. His mind went through these plans as he left the Blessed Heaven World again.
