Felicity's Beast World Apocalypse

Chapter 304: Her power is stabilizing,

Chapter 304: Her power is stabilizing,

Felicity managed to crack open her eyes, finding herself surrounded by her husbands. Their gazes held a mixture of satisfaction and concern as they took in her dishevelled state. She could feel their essence drying on her skin, a physical testament to their union.

"The hot spring," Voss suggested, already moving toward the massive natural pool that dominated one corner of her sanctuary. Steam rose from its surface, the mineral-rich water bubbling gently.

Victor lifted her again, carrying her to the edge of the pool. "We’ll all wash," he decided, his tone brooking no argument.

One by one, her men stripped away their clothing, revealing bodies marked by battle and passion. Ivan’s massive frame moved with surprising grace as he entered the water first, creating space for Victor to lower Felicity into the warm embrace of the spring.

The water enveloped her, easing the ache in her muscles. Gentle hands began to work through her tangled hair, washing away the evidence of their passion. She recognised Voss’s methodical touch, his fingers massaging her scalp as he rinsed away the dried fluids.

"Lean back," Damien instructed, positioning himself behind her so she could rest against his chest while Victor and Ivan washed her body with careful hands.

The sensation of being so thoroughly cared for made Felicity’s eyes drift closed again. She felt safe, cherished, as her husbands worked together to cleanse her skin with natural soaps that smelled of lavender and something uniquely her own.

"Her power is stabilizing," Voss observed quietly, his hands stilling in her hair. "Can you feel it?"

Victor nodded, his red eyes glowing softly in the steam. "She’s replenishing herself with her heal, seems like the cubs like it too."

Felicity’s hand drifted to her stomach, feeling the big swell that hadn’t been there weeks before. Her cubs grew strong within her, nourished by her magic and the bonds she shared with her men.

When they’d finished washing her, Victor lifted her from the water, wrapping her in a soft robe that smelled of sunshine. Damien moved ahead, preparing her bed while Voss gathered healing herbs to place beneath her pillow.

"We’ll stay with her," Voss told the others, nodding toward Damien, who had already positioned himself on one side of the large bed. "You three should check on Dimitri."

Victor’s jaw tightened, but he nodded. "He was still unconscious when we left?"

Ivan grunted in affirmation, his massive shoulders tensing.

"Levelling beyond one hundred is dangerous enough without the added strain of mating with Felicity, with her new power..."

Felicity wanted to speak up, ask what the hell they were talking about, to insist on checking Dimitri herself, but her body refused to cooperate. The exhaustion was too complete, her eyelids too heavy. She felt herself being laid on the soft mattress, Voss’s cool hand brushing her forehead as Damien pulled the covers over her.

"Sleep," Damien commanded softly, his lips brushing her temple. "We’ll watch over you."

As consciousness slipped away, Felicity heard Victor’s low voice: "Let’s see what the albino has gotten himself into."

Victor led the way back through the portal to Felicity’s main living space, his expression grim. The sight that greeted them confirmed his concerns. Dimitri remained sprawled across the couch, his forehead covered with sweat and traces of their shared release. His breathing had deepened, his body occasionally twitching with what appeared to be involuntary muscle spasms.

"He’s still out," Ivan observed unnecessarily, moving to examine the unconscious leopard more closely. "His body and mind are processing the level increase."

Victor crossed his arms, studying the feline form with narrowed eyes. "Levelling past one hundred should have killed him. Felicity’s power is the only reason he survived and progressed this early."

A low growl escaped Dimitri’s throat, his claws extending briefly before retracting again. His white tail seemed to shimmer with an inner light, pulsing in rhythm with his heartbeat.

"What level is he reaching?" Ivan asked, his voice tight with concern. "Can you tell?"

"We won’t be able to tell till he wakes up, but none of us is beyond level 100, so who knows," Victor said, shaking his head.

"It wasn’t just any mating," Ivan reminded him, his expression unreadable. "It was with Felicity, his first time with her."

Victor’s jaw clenched. The implications were clear: Felicity’s power had catalysed something extraordinary in Dimitri’s system. The question was whether it was a one-time thing or not.

"When Felicity wakes," Victor decided, "she’ll need to heal him. Stabilise whatever changes are happening."

Ivan nodded in agreement. "Until then, we should monitor him. The transition could become violent."

As if in response to their words, Dimitri’s body suddenly arched off the couch, a strangled sound escaping his throat.

—-Later that day at the front gate ——

Snow and leaf team had set up a table, chairs and a clipboard because at this point every male in bowral who was dumb enough or strong enough to even attempt to approach the manor, was lined up holding gifts or food or supplies in hopes that the beautiful fox would come down from where ever she was hiding and show her face, and maybe they could be one of her lucky mates.

There were rumours going around the town that were 100% true, but no one believed them that you had to be level 95 to even be able to approach or duel, for a place, no beast man listened to that, that was insane, the max here was 75, though they were pretty sure there might be some 90s spread among them.

Tommy was holding a clipboard with a picture of a cow on it, holding a pen and yelling at men, "GET BACK IN LINE!"

The rumours arrived before the suitors, and the suitors arrived like a plague.

Marx leaned against the iron gatepost, arms crossed, watching the line stretch down the winding dirt road toward Bowral’s crumbling main street, and it was a line, an actual physical queue of beastmen forming in the apocalyptic wasteland like they were waiting for concert tickets. Except the concert was his dream girl, and the tickets were marriage proposals.
